Early Intervention: Behavior is Communication

Challenging behavior in toddlers is rarely random. It’s communication, and learning to interpret it is one of the most powerful tools an early intervention provider can have. This course breaks down the reasons behind why behavior happens, then gets practical: transition difficulty, dropping to the floor, hitting and grabbing, refusal, and crying/screaming, each paired with observation techniques and response strategies you can use immediately. You will finish this course equipped to reduce frustration for both children and caregivers while supporting real developmental growth.

FORMAT: Self-Directed

DURATION: 1 Hour
