Gifted vs. High-Achieving Students: Spot the Difference; Support Both

Not all high-achieving students are gifted, and not all gifted students are high-achievers. In this interactive one-hour session, participants will explore the key differences between gifted and high-achieving learners, uncover common myths that can cloud identification and support, and learn why distinguishing between the two matters. We’ll also examine the often-overlooked group of underachieving gifted students, why it happens, what it looks like, and how to help them re-engage. Educators will leave with a clearer understanding of how to recognize giftedness and the tools to support every gifted learner’s potential.

FORMAT: Self-Directed
