JoltEDU (TalentLMS) Domain Whitelist Requirements
JoltEDU courses are hosted in a platform known as TalentLMS. If your organization uses a firewall, proxy, SSL inspection, or web filtering, some course content may not load unless the required domains are allowlisted.
Common Symptoms When a Domain is Blocked
- Blank/partially loaded course pages
- Embedded documents won’t display
- Media elements fail to load
- Course loads on home internet but not on the organization network
What to Whitelist
Allow HTTPS (TCP 443) access to the following domains:
- JoltEDU Portal
- learn.joltedu.com
- TalentLMS (Jolt’s platform + content delivery)
- cdn.talentlms.com
- cdn2.talentlms.com
- TalentLMS CDN (CloudFront – course assets)
- d3j0t7vrtr92dk.cloudfront.net
- dvrr2y3n5h8wd.cloudfront.net
- d32tjif0oo862w.cloudfront.net
- Box (embedded file viewer / file delivery)
- api.box.com
- boxcdn.net (domain)
- boxcloud.com (domain)
- dl.boxcloud.com
- public.boxcloud.com
- dl2.boxcloud.com through dl20.boxcloud.com (range of hosts)
Notes for IT teams
- If your filtering system supports it, allowlisting wildcards may be preferable for vendor CDNs (example: *.boxcdn.net, *.boxcloud.com) depending on your security policy.
- If SSL inspection is enabled, allowlisting alone may not be enough—inspection can still break embedded content. If you still see loading issues after allowlisting, test with SSL inspection bypassed for the domains above.
