Leading from Where You Are: Finding Everyday Leadership Opportunities
This micro-course empowers us, as educators, to recognize and embrace leadership opportunities in our everyday work. Through reflection and practical examples, we will explore what it means to lead in our learning community —without needing a formal leadership title. You’ll start by defining leadership in the school setting, examining key elements of effective leadership, and then we’ll identify real-life moments during the school day where we can apply these skills intentionally. By the end of the course, we will reflect on our leadership strengths and name specific opportunities to lead with purpose and confidence.
